Jenny Sayer

Born 1962 in Wagga NSW, Jenny grew up in Wagga, Albury & NE Victoria moving to Tasmania in 1986. Living & working in Launceston with her husband Stuart and two daughters. In 2012
they made the move to Murwillumbah NSW and are now embracing life in this beautiful
subtropical area.

Drawing, painting and creating, her careers encompassed the skills she enjoyed. Initially working in Graphic Design, this changed to Sign Writing as a way of getting outdoors. She studied Graphic Design and Sign writing in Melbourne. In partnership with Stu they owned a professional Sign business in Launceston for 25 years. Tamar Signs designed manufactured and
installed signs. With the progression of technology in the sign industry her attention has now gone back to hands on materials.

Nature is the ultimate inspiration behind all of Jenny’s work. There is endless satisfaction in experimenting with many mediums and techniques. Glass mosaics make up the majority of works along with paintings in oils, encaustic, enamel and acrylics, sculpture, printmaking and silk
painting.

Jenny’s artworks are on display in local cafes and galleries or by appointment.
Day classes in Glass Mosaics & other mediums are run from Jenny’s home in Murwillumbah.
